Nakshatram Movie Story:
Rama Rao (Sundeep Kishan) hails from a family that has the history of men becoming cops. He also wanted to become a police officer and in the process, he, unfortunately, gets into a trouble by involving in a dispute with Police Commissioner’s son Rahul (Taneesh). Rahul plans a revenge by becoming an obstacle to Rama Rao’s dream of becoming a cop. After realising that he has no choice of becoming a cop, Rama Rao decides to act as a cop and perform his duty with the name Alexander. After a while, the cops begin searching for a criminal Mukhtar and starts finding of Alexander. What happens next and how did all the other actors become a part of Rama Rao life reveals the story of the film.
Nakshatram Movie Cast and Performances:
The film has an ensemble cast like Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Sai Dharam Tej, Pragya Jaiswal, Shriya Saran, Prakash Raj, Tanish, Viva Harsha, Raghu Babu, Thulasi, Sivaji Raja, J. D. Chakravarthy, Brahmaji and others. All the lead actors did their job pretty well. After a long time, Sundeep Kishan has got a performance oriented role but the thing is that he has brought in some over action into the role which might irk us. The heroines Pragya and Regina are too good in the film. The director tried his best to bring in the best possible glam quotient from both of them. Sai Dharam Tej’s role is impressive and he did his best too. Prakash Raj played an interesting role and he deserves a mention. All the other actors did their best in the limited roles they got and impressed the audiences.
The writing department single-handedly belongs to the director Krishna Vamshi. The credits for the story and screenplay will go to him. The writing lacks the freshness. There is not much that is happening with the story of the film. It is routine too! The old charm of Krishna Vamshi’s writing is completely missing. The dialogues are good.
Nakshatram Movie Technical Department:
Technically, the film is good but there are not many elements which will make us tell that the film is outstanding. Sreekanth Naroj’s camera work is good. But there is some problem with the colouring and DI. The director tried his best to present the frames in a beautiful manner. The editing by Siva Y Prasad is okay in the film. The transition of the scenes is good. There are still few ups and downs in the flow. Three Music Directors Bheems Ceciroleo, Bharat Madhusudhan and Hari Gowra worked on the project. The music failed to impress and the BGM is just okay. The art work is good. The production values of the film are rich.
Nakshatram Movie Highlights:
Nakshatram Movie Minus Points:
The film is crucial for Krishna Vamshi as he has to prove with this film. But, the director failed again and disappointed everyone with an old age story. The director tried to incorporate too many elements like Crime, Love, Patriotism and other things in the story but he failed to manage all of them properly. The characterizations in the story have no proper skeleton and it shows the lack of clarity for the director. The director failed to involve the viewers in the story and this connectivity issue is a major problem. The first half of the film does not have any story moving forward and it brings boredom to the audiences. The second half also begins with a slow pace. In many aspects, the film failed to impress. Krishna Vamshi came up with another half baked script and because of which, the fans had to taste another disappointment.
